One of the premier Scottish festivals in the US, Stone Mountain Highland Games will feature colorful pipe bands, Scottish Athletics, Piping and Drumming competitions, Highland dancers competing before judges of worldwide renown, Country Dancing, Scottish Harping and Fiddling. Scottish foods and drink, clan tents and vendors selling lovely goods imported from the British Isles, and Celtic performers are also a part of this traditional gathering.

Southern California's Seaside Highland Games is the premier Scottish festival on the Pacific Coast and will launch its 20th outing on October 12 & 13, 2024. Staged on the Ventura County Fairgrounds in coastal Ventura, California, the venue is transformed into a virtual Scottish village of this or any age. Set on the Pacific shores, the festival is fortunate to enjoy the ocean breezes virtually every year and October is the optimal time to enjoy the time between summer and fall!
Traditional Scottish competitions include heavy athletics, highland dancing, piping and drumming, soccer, and sheepdog trials. Live entertainment includes Scottish folk musicians and celtic rock bands, as well as Scottish country dancing, living history, birds of prey and celtic animal exhibitions. This year's Grandstand Show will feature performances from the Vancouver Irish Pipes and Drums Society from British Columbia and a guest military band, as well as the spectacular 'massed bands' comprised of hundreds of pipers and drummers.
